25KVA Three Phase Inverter Type MIN 253U
System converts 110VDC power from Under Coach Generator /Batteries to 415VAC, 3 Phase, 50Hz power, for operating Compressor and Fan Motors of Air Conditioners, in Railway Coaches. The equipment is designed for underslung mounting (below the coach).
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The Input DC Voltage is boosted to higher DC Voltage level by a boost chopper. This high voltage DC is fed to a IGBT based 3 Phase PWM Sine-wave Inverter to get 3 phase Output. The 3 phase output is passed through harmonics filter to filter out high frequency component. The output is protected against short circuits and overloads. The entire operation is controlled by a micro controller.
Salient Features
Input Voltage is Boosted to stable 620VDC using Step Up Chopper and then PWM Inverter is used to generate 415V, 3-phase, 50Hz output.
