TB-03 is a system ideally suited for Test Rooms in Loco Sheds for testing of Recorder cum Indicator, additional Indicator type MRT-912, Pulse generator type T-812 and Optical Speed Sensors type T-813 and T-813M. It can also be used for testing Memory type Speed cum Energy Recorders and Indicators type MRT 921 and MRT 922. It work on 230 VAC, 50 Hz power supply. Complete set of Recorder cum Indicator, additional Indicator and Pulse Generator/ Speed Sensor can be tested in a totally simulated environment using the Pulse Generator/Speed Sensor Test Simulator.

Recorder cum Indicator and Speed Indicator can also be tested and calibrated for Speed accuracy by using computer controlled accurate Speed Simulator Type SS-03. Accuracy of Energy calibration for MRT 921 and MRT 922 is verified by checking the accuracy of OHE voltage and OHE current measurement.
