MEDHA SERVO DRIVES PVT. LTD. was founded in 1984 with the goal of using innovative technology for solving specific problems. Naturally our prime focus has always been Research and Development. Not using Technology as an end in itself but as a means for solving a problem has always been the guiding line.

Today our R&D center (certified by Department of Science and Industrial Research) is delivering products that meet globally accepted standards. We are happy that we have been able to fulfill our obligations to our clientele and that today Medha is synonymous with cutting edge technology and a diverse range of products for the Railways .

In 2003, Medha has defined its Vision of being a "World Leader in Railway Products". The first objective to meet this vision was to develop a complete range of products that are comparable to the latest available anywhere in the world especially in the area of Locomotive / Vehicle Controls. In 2008, after successful completion of several projects like Electronic Governor, Microprocessor based Locomotive Control Systems and recently IGBT based Traction Converters for AC Motor control and Electronic Interlocking system for Railway Signaling, Medha is close to achieving its first objective. Now Medha is gearing up for the second objective of utilizing this experience and Intellectual Property to customize the solutions for worldwide market.

We are proud of the achievements that have made Medha a successful company with a Sales Revenue of INR 1 billion (INR 100 crores), powered by a dedicated team that values Quality above everything. We look forward to a challenging future to use our knowledge and continue to grow at a healthy pace (Sales Revenue has grown 100% per year for the period 2006 - 2008).
