A majority of Engineers in our Design and Development department were hired through campus recruitments.
Every year between October and March we visit premium institutions of engineering and technology in and around Andhra Pradesh. Through campus recruitments we hire engineers with electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and related specialisations. Our campus recruitment is a three step process. We invite students to take a written test, where we evaluate the candidate’s knowledge of fundamentals in engineering in a descriptive format. Once the test papers are evaluated, which usually takes three days, the qualified candidates are invited to a personal interview. In the first round of interview, the candidate interacts with Medha’s Engineers and discusses in-depth about the position, projects and the company. In the next round of interview, the candidate spends time with Human Resources representative and discusses his/her career goals, growth within the company and the company culture.
Selected candidates are offered employment as ‘Trainee Design Engineer’. These employees go through extensive training for 6 months with daily class room and practical sessions on the latest technologies and trends. The training also includes a project for 13 weeks. During these 6 months the trainees are assessed on their performance and areas of improvement on a regular basis. At the end of the training period, trainees are placed in appropriate departments, based on their performance evaluation and preference for functional domains to work on running projects along with other experienced Design Engineers.
